Palmetto State Baseball team of the week, May 7-13: USC Sumter

USC Sumter (3-0 for the week )
(won three games this week in Region 10 Tournament)

After losing its first game of the NJCAA Region 10 Tournament, USC Sumter roared back through the losers' bracket to claim the league championship and automatic berth in the NJCAA  playoffs.

Coach Tim Medlin's squad (36-21), advances to the four-team Eastern District Tournament in New York later this month. The district winner goes to the Junior College World Series.
