Clemson coach Monte Lee got his 400th victory as a college head coach when the Tigers (38-13) hammered Austin Peay (30-21), 10-1, Saturday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium to even the nonconference series at 1-1.
Lee, in his third season with the Tigers, picked up his 100th win at Clemson earlier this year. He was coach at College of Charleston before moving to Tigertown.
Logan Davidson doubled twice, homered, walked twice, stole two bases, scored four runs and drove in four runs from his leadoff position. Kyle Wilkie added two hits. Clemson was held to six hits, but drew 10 walks and two more batters were hit by pitches.
Winning pitcher Brooks Crawford gave up four hits while striking out 10 in 6.2 innings.

* Coastal Carolina (35-14, 20-6) moved within a win of clinching the overall top seed for the Sun Belt Conference Tournament by beating Little Rock (26-22, 14-11), 6-4, to clinch a conference series victory. Kevin Woodall Jr. doubled, homered, walked twice, scored three runs and drove in three runs for the Chanticleers. Kieton Rivers and Cory Wood also added two hits apiece.
* Adam Hill pitched seven shutout innings and Justin Row was 3-for-3 with a home run as South Carolina (29-21, 14-12) evened its SEC series with Missouri with a 6-3 victory. L. T. Tolbert singled, doubled, walked and drove in two runs as the Gamecocks snapped a three-game losing streak and topped their SEC victory total of a season ago.
* Zach Peek came within one out of a complete game and Winthrop (23-26, 14-9) evened its series with Big South Conference leader Campbell (28-21, 18-5) with a 5-1 victory. The Eagles scored four runs in the top of the eighth. After getting the first two outs of the ninth, Peek hit a batter and allowed a single. Reliever Dalton Whitaker hit a batter before getting the potential tying run to pop out. Tyler Halstead and Hunter Lipcomb had two hits apiece for Winthrop.
* Colton Chapman led off the bottom of the 11th inning with a home run, lifting Presbyterian (15-35, 8-15) to a 4-3 victory over Longwood (15-34, 7-16) to clinch a Big South Conference series win. Longwood scored three runs in the second and held the Blue Hose scoreless until they tied the game in the eighth. Chapman and Nick Guimbarda had two hits each for PC.
* Wofford (32-20, 12-8) evened its series with VMI (25-22, 11-9) and moved back ahead of the Keydets in the Southern Conference standings with an 8-4 victory in Lexington. Mack Nathanson's two-run single highlighted a five-run fourth inning as the Terriers wiped out a 3-1 deficit. Nathanson and Alec Cargin had two hits apiece for Wofford.
* Grant Schuermann pitched a 13-hit complete game for Furman (23-26, 8-12) in a 6-5 victory at East Tennessee State (26-20, 10-10) to even that Southern Conference series. The Paladins scored a run in the first inning and four in the second. Schuermann made that stand up until the seventh, when Bucs scored two runs. Jason Costa's ninth-inning homer turned to be big for the Paladins, because ETSU scored three runs in the bottom on the inning. Five Paladins had two hits apiece.
* Tyler Weekley struck out seven in 7.2 innings and Derek Horton had a two-run double as Charleston Southern (16-32, 7-17) evened its Big South Conference series with Gardner-Webb (27-23, 12-11) with a 4-1 victory.
* UNC Greensboro (36-12, 17-3) clinched at least a share of the SoCon's regular-season title with 4-3 victory over The Citadel (17-31, 6-14). The Spartans fell behind 3-0 after one inning, but scored a run in the second, two in the third and one in the eighth. William Kinney, Bryce Leasure and Jonathan Sabo had two hits each for the Bulldogs.
* Jacksonville (33-17, 10-6) scored in its final five innings for a 14-5 win at USC Upstate (23-26-1, 5-12) to wrap up an Atlantic Sun Conference series victory. Jake Bourke, Charlie Carpenter and Kyle Gensler had two hits each for the Spartans, who were unable protect an early 2-0 lead.
Peach Belt Conference Tournament
* USC Aiken (35-18) won twice in pool play to advance to Sunday's championship game. Christian Aragon (9-1) pitched eight innings and Joey Smithers doubled twice and scored twice in a 4-1 victory over Columbus State. The Pacers followed that with a 4-2 win over host Flagler as Brian Parreira hit a three-run homer. But USCA's ticket to the title game wasn't punched until Columbus State beat Young Harris, 7-2, later in the day. Had Young Harris won, it would have gone to the finals instead of Aiken.
Aiken's opponent in the final was to be determined by the Georgia College-UNC Pembroke game which was still in progress as of midnight.
* Lander (16-35) saw its season come to an end with a pair of losses. Nathan Schreckengost had a three-run homer in the first inning, but the Bearcats lost to North Georgia, 11-4. Mike Fitschen had three hits in the second game, a 12-2 loss to UNC Pembroke.
