State schedule, Feb. 15-17

Ten of South Carolina's NCAA Division I teams begin their season on home venues today as the college baseball schedule hits full stride. I

Presbyterian (at Alabama) is the only state DI team opening its season with at road series.

Clemson (vs. South Carolina), Coastal Carolina (vs. Virginia Commonwealth) and South Carolina (vs. Liberty) open bids to return to NCAA tournament.

Coastal Carolina is playing host to the Brittain Resorts Invitational. meeting Maryland on Saturday and Campbell on Sunday.

USC Sumter plays host to Wake Tech and Harford for a round-robin event at Riley Park on Saturday and Sunday.

North Greenville has a home series with Nova Southeastern in a pairing of nationally ranked NCAA Division II teams.

Elsewhere, Spartanburg Methodist's schedule in a tournament in Wadley, Ala., has been compressed from three days to two because of weather concerns.

Start times for Friday's home games for Furman and USC Aiken have been changed because of weather concerns,.
