Clemson (4-0 for the week)
(beat Furman, went 3-0 against North Carolina)
Is there any doubt (except from USC Lancaster, which had two late wins Sunday to run its winning streak to 11 games) that Clemson had the best week of any S.C. college baseball team?
Clemson couldn't have asked for a much better way to open Atlantic Coast Conference play. In between come-from-behind walk-off victories in Games 1 and 3, the Tigers pounded third-ranked North Carolina in Game 2.
Clemson historian Tim Bourret reports it's the Tigers' first sweep of the Tar Heels since 1997, when Game 3 also ended with a walk-off win.
The Tigers (12-3) face a home challenge from Coastal Carolina on Wednesday before retunring to league play with a home series against Notre Dame next weekend.
