Newberry's Russell Triplett got his 250th career coaching victory and four hitters had two hits apiece for the Wolves, who improved to 16-0 at home this season with a 10-5 win over Erskine.

Briefly: Brooks Crawford went 4 1/3 innings in his first appearance since suffering an injury in the South Carolina series and Clemson scored five runs in the first in a rout of College of Charleston ... T.J. Hopkins doubled and homered twice and joined Brady Allen in driving in four runs as South Carolina outlasted Furman at Fluor Field ... Tyler Fox pitched a complete game and Todd Mattox had a three-run homer in the opener of USC Lancaster's doubleheader sweep of the Erskine JV ... Cole Hamilton had three hits as USC Beaufort snapped a 14-game winning streak by NAIA No. 8 Middle Georgia en route to a doubleheader split ... Will Lindsey singled twice, doubled and drove in two runs as Anderson held off Southern Wesleyan ... Andres Kim had four hits, Jeff Taylor had three and three USC Upstate pitchers combined on a four-hit shutout ...  Nolen Hester doubled, scored three runs and drove in three and three Wofford pitchers put together a two-hit shutout ...  Kyle Horton had four hits, Reid Hardwick had three and Charleston Southern scored two in the ninth before winning in 12 innings ... Coker snapped a six-game losing streak with an extra-inning win.
