Weekend state schedule, March 8-10

Weekend series involving Anderson, Coker, Erskine, Furman Lander, Morris, Newberry, North Greenville, Presbyterian, South Carolina, Southern Wesleyan, Winthrop and Wofford were adjusted over the last couple of days, primarily because of weather concerns.

Morris is now scheduled to open its season today with a doubleheader at Edward Waters.

Also, Clemson plays host to North Carolina in its ACC opener, Coastal Carolina plays in a tournament in Seattle and College of Charleston visits Arizona.

In addition, the First Pitch Classic gets under way at Fluor Field in Greenville.

On Saturday, NJCAA Region 10 teams open conference play.
