Benedict and Morris became the last two teams in the state to begin their season on Friday.
Benedict lost to Post, 23-2, at the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach.
Morris lost to Savannah State, 27-4 and 28-3.
In past years Morris hasn't started its season before mid-March. I'd made two attempts to get the Morris schedule -- without success -- but figured I still had another week or so to go before I needed to worry.
Shortly after midnight Saturday, I stumbled upon the Morris-Savannah State scores while looking for the Voorhees-Trinity Baptist box on the NAIA Website. Morris and Savannah State play again Saturday morning in Savannah.
If there are any Morris baseball fans out there, please help me out on the schedule and scores this season.
