Palmetto State Baseball team of the week, March 2-8: College of Charleston

College of Charleston (4-0 for the week)
(beat Clemson, went 3-0 vs. Evansville)

The week started out nicely for coach Chad Holbrook's Cougars when they scored four first-inning runs and were never headed in an 11-2 midweek  win at Clemson.

The finish wasn't too bad, either. They had late-inning rallies to win Games 1 and 3 in a weekend series sweep of Evansville.

The College has won five straight games and nine of its last 10. The Cougars play a Tuesday home game against Virginia Commonwealth before heading to Greenville and three games at Furman.
