Claflin makes stealth coaching change

Well, in looking for the score of Claflin's game with Lincoln on Tuesday (Claflin lost, 24-10) I found out the Panthers changed coaches earlier this year.

Based on hix X account, Scott Nestor, who was with the Panthers for one season, left to take a position in the New York Yankees minor league organization.

The roster on the school website lists Jaylan Bledsoe as coach and indicates he was hired in January, which is corroborated by Bledsoe's X account.

There is no news release announcing either move in the website baseball story archives and a Google search turned up nothing, either.

My apologies for missing this.

Tuesday's loss dropped Claflin to 1-13 with a 12-game losing streak.
