* Troj-antics: Mac Ketchin is 10-for-23 with six RBI during a six-game hitting streak ... Carlos Hernandez had a six-game streak ended in the finale of the Virginia Wise series ... Ryan Brash got a win and a save against UVA Wise. He has 19 strikeouts and one walk in 29 innings ... Kye Andress went 6-for-9 against UVA Wise.

Benedict

* Bene-feats: The Tigers are batting .306 as a team and have stolen 160 bases in 194 attempts ... Jamell Mitchell Jr. leads the team with 34 steals in 42 attempts. He has drawn 23 walks against 9 strikeouts ... Taj Bates leads the team with a .438 batting average. He and Kent Johnson share the homer lead with five.

Bob Jones

* Bru-insights: Although the season is expected to continue with a bid to the NCCAA playoffs, the Bruins have set a program record with 11 wins in its fourth season. The three-game winning streak to end the regular season ties the school record ... Riley Ramsey made up for lost time in the weekend series with Mid-Atlantic Christian, going 8-for-10 with two doubles, a triple, three solo home runs and eight runs scored.  The Gaffney native left an April 16 game with Montreat after one inning with a lower body injury and missed the next four games. His red-hot return lifted his season average to .460. He leads the team in runs (32), doubles (11), triples (6), homers (8) and RBI (25) ... Sam Gonzalez had two hits in each game over the weekend, improving his hitting streak to six games ... Conley Burk has raised his batting average to .382 during a nine-game hitting streak. He also hit his first homer of the season ... Henry Wallach had a season-best outing on Friday, allowing six hits and a run in eight innings. 

Charleston Southern

* Buc blasts: Chandler Tuopo is the only Buccaneer to have played in all 41 games, but he has started in just 38. He is hitless in his last 11 at-bats, dropping his average to .361 ... CSU has held opponents to two runs in each of the last two games, matching the season low.

Claflin

* Claf-lines:  Kobe Miller finished the season with a .315 batting average and stole 22 bases in 26 attempts ... Roman Woods-Golston pitched a complete game on opening day for Claflin's only victory ... The Panthers were outscored 681-155. in 45 games. Opponents had a .406 batting average, a .529 on-base percentage and outhomered Claflin 54-3. The staff ERA was 14.83.

Clemson 

* Tiger tales: Clemson has joined North Carolina in being assured of a spot in the ACC Tournament ... Blake Wright's hitting streak is at 13 games ... Alden Mathes has raised his batting average to .344 during a nine-game hitting streak, going 18-for-41.  Jacob Hinderleider (14-for-38) also has a nine-game hitting streak ... Clemson pitchers struck out two on Saturday and three on Sunday, the two lowest totals of the season.

Coastal Carolina

* Chanti-sphere: Coastal has lost five straight games for the first time since 2014 ... Graham Brown had a seven-game hitting streak snapped on Sunday. He was 15-for-29 during the streak ... Troy got 34 hits - including eight homers - in its series sweep. The Chants committed eight errors.

Coker

* Snake strikes: The Cobras have stolen 166 bases in 209 attempts. leader Jacob Yarberry (24) has more than opponents have for the season (23) ... Coker batters have been hit by pitches 116 times ... Kody Hanna and Jaylen Mack share the team lead in RBI (37).

College of Charleston

* Cougar curves: Connor Campbell's win against Campbell was the 20th of his career, making him the 10th pitcher in school history to reach that mark ... Will Baumhofer had an eight-game hitting streak snapped on Sunday ... Cole Mathis was 12-for-18 in four games last week with 3 homers and 11 RBI. He was 11-for-14 against Campbell ... The College hit .365 as a team in the Campbell series.

Columbia International

* Ram-egrams: The Rams will play host to the NCCAA South Regional next week ... Scott McDonough had an 11-game hitting steak snapped in the finale of the Reinhardt series. He had 6 homers and 25 RBI during the streak after having 4 homers and 24 RBI in his first 28 games ... Colton Perez is 15-for-31 during a 10-game hitting streak

Erskine

* Fleet filberts: Erskine pitchers have struck out 438 batters in 423 1/3 innings, led by Alex Heintz's 90 in 66 innings ... Jared Guell has allowed one homer in 47 1/3 innings ... Josean Sanchez has hit safely in 23 of his last 27 games ... Dale Francis Jr. suffered a lower body injury April 6 and has missed three weeks. He was in the starting lineup at first base in Game 1 against North Greenville on Saturday (the final conference home date), but was replaced before a pitch was thrown. That would suggest he won't be available for the postseason. Francis was batting .405 with 15 homers and 53 RBI. He was named Conference Carolinas player of the year in 2023 when he hit .442 with 14 homers.

Florence-Darlington Tech

* Stinger zingers: Tech leads Region 10 in hits (529), triples (18), pitchers' strikeouts (404), fewest stolen bases allowed (37) and percentage of opposing runners caught stealing (.178) ... Rom Kellis is batting .417 with 14 homers and 67 RBI ... Derek Duval (5) and Matthew Driver (4) are 1-2 in the region in saves ... Jay Douglas has a .400 batting average and leads the team with 40 stolen bases in 43 attempts ... The Stingers have two of the most productive two-way players in the state. Michael Gibson is batting .309 with 6 homers in 34 games and has a 6-2 record and 2.66 ERA. Bryce Coulter is batting .381 and has a 3-0 record with a 2.61 ERA.

Francis Marion

* Patriot-ics: The back-to-back shutouts to open the Mount Olive series gave Francis Marion three for the season. Chas DeBruhl started two of them ... FMU had lost its last seven conference home games before the Mount Olive series ...  Peyton Wilson has a six-game hitting streak, going 12-for-26.

Lander

* Lander liners: The Peach Belt Conference regular-season title is the Bearcats' first since 2014 ... Ethan Wilder had a 20-game hitting streak snapped in the opener of the Georgia Southwestern series, but he was 6-for-9 in the final two games. He has hit safely in 28 of his last 30 games, raising his batting average to .415 ... Chandler Moeller has an eight-game hitting streak ... Gary Garrett was 7-for-12 for the weekend.

Limestone

* Halo happenings: Noah Love was 9-for-13 against Tusculum and 17-for-27 with 5 doubles, 3 homers and 8 RBI over his last five games, raising his batting average to .350 ... Sion Barnett closed the season on a five-game hitting streak, going 8-for-27 ... Gavin Troyer went 8-for-12 during his five-game hitting streak.

Morris

* Hornet heaters: Christopher Titus and Brayden Rose hit safely in both games of the doubleheader split with Voorhees. Guillermo Morel pitched a complete game in the Morris victory.

Newberry

* Wolf howls: Donovan Ford has base hits 44 of 48 games this season. He has a 29-game hitting streak and last went hitless in a game March 8 in the opener of a doubleheader. Two times he went hitless in one game of a doubleheader, but got a hit in the other game. The last day Ford played without getting a hit was Feb. 23. The other time was Feb. 10.  Carson-Newman held him hitless in two of three games. He is batting .430 and leads the team with 28 stolen bases in 31 attempts ... Luke Compton is 8-for-16 during a five-game hitting streak.

North Greenville

* Crusader capers: David Lewis hit two homers Saturday, giving him 20 for the season. He has a seven-game hitting streak (12-for-24) with 4 homers and 13 RBI ... Pat Monteith has multiple hits in six of his last seven games ... Relievers Nate Roof, Matthew Taubensee and Dawson Taylor have combined for 122 strikeouts while allowing 43 walks in 88 1/3 innings. Their composite ERA is 1.53.

Presbyterian

* Kilt kernels: Joel Dragoo's hitting streak is at 18 games. He has hit five of his team-leading 12 homers during the streak ... Jay Wetherington was 6-for-12 with 5 RBI in the USC Upstate series ... Daniel Eagen has had a strikeout or more per inning in all 10 starts. He has fanned 88 in 51 1/3 innings ... PC pitchers have struck out 10 or more batters 23 times in 44 games. 

South Carolina

* Fowl fare: The Gamecocks lead the nation in walks received, 299 ... Ethan Petry had a three-run homer wiped out Sunday when he passed Austin Brinling rounding first base after hitting a ball over the fence. Petry was called out and credited for a two-run single ... Will Tippett missed the Kentucky series while recovering from being hit in the helmet by a pitch in Arkansas series and suffering a knee injury when he fell. Tippett leads the SEC with eight sacrifices ... USC leads the SEC with 35 double plays - seven more than second-place Arkansas ... Kennedy Jones was 6-for-11 with 8 RBI against Kentucky ... Ty Good has a 2-1 record, a 2.84 ERA and 32 strikeouts in 25 1./3 innings in conference games. He has a 2.95 ERA and 49 strikeouts in 39 2/3 innings overall.

Southern Wesleyan

* Southern shags: As tough a season as it has been, the Warriors still had a chance to qualify for the Conference Carolinas Tournament entering the final day ... SWU scored six runs in the first inning of the series opener at UNC Pembroke, but didn't score again in the loss ... Cam Mitchem finished the season hitting a team-leading .330 and also led the team in hits (58), doubles (13), homers (13) and RBI (53). ... Gage Shaver hit safely in eight of his last nine games to finish with a .305 batting average.

Spartanburg Methodist

* Pioneer pearls: Davis Wright (71, 2.05) and Kemper Nix (67, 2.95) rank 1-2 in Region 10 in strikeouts and ERA. Nix has 9 wins and Wright has 8 ... Schley Gordy and Hunter Fryzowicz share the team lead in batting average among qualifiers with a .406 mark. Blake Martin is batting .510, but missed 22 games. He is 14-for-20 in his last six games.

The Citadel

* Bulldog bulletins: The series sweep at East Tennessee State dropped the Bulldogs to 2-10 in road games and 1-14 in the Southern Conference ... Junior Wells Sykes hit his first career homer on Saturday. He is hitting a team-leading .342 ... Garrett Fulmer homered on consecutive Saturdays.

USC Aiken

* Pacer patter: USCA's win over USC Beaufort on Sunday clinched the No. 8 spot in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament. Had Beaufort won the game, it would have been the eighth seed ... Josh Sharp went 6-for-12 over the weekend, raising his batting average to .385 and extending his hitting streak to 10. 

USC Beaufort

* Shark bites: Brian Meyer went 5-for-13 over the weekend to end his season with a .314 batting average. His batting average had languished in the mid-.200s much of the season, but he went 15-for-35 over his final nine games ... Hunter Miller was 5-for-11 against USC Aiken ... Julian Galassi ended the season on an eight-game hitting streak (13-for-28).

USC Lancaster

* Lancer lots: Eddie Olmeda leads Region 10 with a .470 batting average. Teammate Joe Sperry is third at .408 and leads the region in homers (19) and RBI (79). He has an .840 slugging percentage ... The Lancers had scored in double figures in four straight games and seven of their last eight before being held to four runs in the regular-season finale against USC Union.

USC Salkehatchie

* Indian Items: Salkehatchie has been shut out six times, but not in its last 12 games ... The Indians' 5-3 win over USC Sumter in the regular-season finale came despite being held to one hit - a two-single by Lane Boutwell ... Keorden Leito has two of Salkehatchie's four wins.

USC Sumter

* Ant hills: J.T. Popick has 29 stolen bases in 32 attempts. He also leads the Fire Ants with 58 hits and 52 runs scored ... Josh Keen has 62 strikeouts in 50 innings, fourth-best in Region 10.

USC Union

* Bantam bits:  Brayden Corn leads the team in most offensive categories, including hits (50), runs (53), doubles (12), homers (9), RBI (37) and stolen bases (26 in 27 attempts). He has a .379 batting average.

USC Upstate 

* Uppercuts: Koby Kropf homered in all three games at Presbyterian and has a school NCAA Division I-era-record 16 homers - half of them coming in the last 11 games. Four teammates also are in double figures ... Each homer the Spartans hit (83 through Sunday) adds to the school record ... Jace Rinehart had a six-game hitting streak snapped on Saturday, but he bounced back with two hits on Sunday ... Noah Sullivan's seven runs allowed on Friday were the most he had allowed in a game since Kentucky scored eight on opening day.

Voorhees

* Bengal bingles: Isaiah Palmer leads the Tigers with a .352 batting average ... Joseph Gaines is 20-for-23 in stolen base attempts ... Xander Casarez has five of the Tigers' 13 wins and has struck out 68 batters in 80 1/3 innings.

Winthrop

* Eagle eggs-tra: Winthrop was idle last weekend after upending Charlotte on Tuesday. The Eagles' last three wins were all followed up by three-game losing streaks ... Harrison Wilson has raised his batting average 39 points to .280 during an 11-game hitting streak. He has doubled in his last three games ... Charlie Evans has three of the Eagle's 12 stolen bases.

Wofford

* Terrier tappers: Marshall Toole has a school-record eight triples. He is tied for second nationally with Alejandro Covas of Youngstown State. Ethan Conrad of Marist leads the nation with 11 ... The Terriers have scored 440 runs, but have dropped behind Austin Peay (456) and Texas A&M (443) in the national statistics.
