Anderson

* Trojan treats: Heading into Monday's game at Limestone, Anderson pitchers had struck out 47 batters in 43 innings ... After going hitless to open the season, Braden Harrison has gone 9-for-17 in his last four games ... Joshua Legnard, who struck out 167 batters in 141 innings over two seasons at Bob Jones is playing for Anderson.

Bob Jones

* Bear facts: Conley Burk is hitting .667 (8-for-12) despite being unable to start a couple of games after suffering an injury while running the bases. He was 7-for-10 with 2 homers and 6 RBI in the weekend series at Trinity Baptist ... Mac Carroll is making a bid to be BJU's ace. He is 1-0 with a 2.08 ERA and 16 strikeouts in 8 2/3 innings ... Tuesday's scheduled home game with Montreat has been postponed over weather concerns.

* Panther prowls: Claflin pitchers hit eight Francis Marion batters in their game last week. Panthers pitchers have walked 43 batters and hit 17 in 51 innings ... Kyle Hawkins has given up one hit and hasn't allowed a run in two starts covering 10 innings. He threw five no-hit innings on Sunday against Southern-New Orleans.

* Corba coils: Coach Fico Kondla has his players active on the basepaths again this season. They've stolen 28 bases in 35 tries in eight games. Hunter Poole is 7-for-8 and Jaylen Mack is 6-for-7 ... Casey Cleghorn has been the most effective starting pitcher so far, going 1-0 with a 1.69 ERA in two starts ... Skiler Jackson struck out the only two batters he faced in his only appearance.

* Blazer blurbs: NGU never trailed during its four wins in Hawaii. The Trailblazers' closest game was the 8-7 finale against Hawaii Pacific. Landon Shaw's eighth-inning homer broke a tie and provided the margin of victory ... North Greenville is 25-for-27 in stolen bases attempts ...Both Gideon Antle and Bryce Roddey had six hits and drove in six runs on the trip ... Pitchers have struck out 99 in 71 innings.
