More schedule updates
* Claflin's scheduled home opener against Benedict on Thursday has been postponed. No makeup date was announced.
* The Spartanburg Methodist series at Johnson University has changed venue and setup. The teams will play a doubleheader at 2 p.m. Friday at Mooneyham Field on the SMC Campus. Game 1 will be nine innings and Game 2 will be seven. It was to have been a three-game series in Knoxville. Johnson is coached by former University of Tennessee coach Dave Serrano.
* Winthrop has adjusted its opening series against Merrimack. The scheduled Saturday game has been moved to a 12:30 p.m. Friday doubleheader at Founders Field. The series finale is still scheduled for Sunday.
