Terriers picked third in SoCon

Southern Conference coaches have picked UNC Greensboro to win the conference championship this season, with Samford second, Wofford third and The Citadel seventh.

Pitcher Kenny Michaels and outfielders David Wiley and Andrew Mannelly of Wofford and infielder Travis Elliott of The Citadel were voted first team preseason all-conference.

Wofford's second-team choices were pitchers Alec Bouchard, Champ Davis and Dylan Rhadans, catcher Lucas Manning and first baseman Tyler Hare.

Tigers set scrimmage times

Clemson's scrimmage times for the final weekend before the season starts are at 2 p.m. Friday, 10:30 a.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium. The Tigers open their season against Oklahoma State Feb. 14 in the Shriners Children's College Showdown in Arlington, Texas.

USC scrimmage times set

South Carolina's final preseason scrimmages are at 2:30 p.m. Friday (9 1/2 innings), 1 p.m. Saturday (8 1/2 innings) and 3:30 p.m. Monday (4 1/2 innings) at Founders Park. 

Clemson adds TV designations

With ESPN's release of its 2025 college baseball live coverage plans, Clemson has added TV/streaming designations to its season schedule.
