Weekend schedules adjusted

* This weekend's Region 10 series between Florence-Darlington Tech and USC Salkehatchie in Allendale has been adjusted because of weather concerns. Sunday's game has been shifted to 2 p.m. Friday and the Saturday doubleheader will start at noon.
* Anderson's South Atlantic Conference series at Virginia Wise now consists of a game at 4 p.m. Saturday and a doubleheader at 1 p.m. Sunday.

* Erskine's Conference Carolinas series at Mount Olive is now set for a 3 p.m. game on Friday and a noon doubleheader on Saturday.

* The King-Francis Marion Conference Carolinas series is now scheduled for a 6 p.m. Friday game and a 1 p.m. Saturday twinbill at Sparrow Stadium in Florence.

* Southern Wesleyan has adjusted its home Conference Carolinas series with Chowan to a 3 p.m.
Friday doubleheader and a noon Saturday finale.
* The Citadel will open a four-game home series with Northwestern at 3 p.m. Friday, followed by a doubleheader at 1 p.m. Saturday and a single game at 1 p.m. Sunday.

First Pitch Invitational this weekend

Michigan State completes its annual sojourn at Greenville's Fluor Field this weekend with the First Pitch Invitational.

The Spartans will be joined by Cornell, UAB and Winthrop.
