* NCAA Division I: Collin Priest and Tryston McLaddie homered as Clemson (19-1, 2-0) beat Notre Dame (10-6, 0-5) for its 17th straight win and an ACC series victory ... Kennedy Jones singled, doubled and homered as South Carolina (16-4, 1-1) evened its SEC series with Oklahoma (16-2, 1-1) ... Coastal Carolina (15-5, 3-0) pitchers struck out 21 Georgia Southern (10-9, 0-3) and allowed 11 hits in completing a Sun Belt Conference series sweep ... A six-run fourth started Winthrop (10-10, 1-1) toward Big South series-evening win over Presbyterian (9-11, 1-1)  ... Radford (9-8, 2-0) hit four home runs to clinch a Big South series win over USC Upstate (8-10, 0-2) ... Landon Penfield singled, tripled and homered to drive in two runs as College of Charleston (12-5) beat Dartmouth (0-8) for the second straight day ... Niko Brini singled, homered, stole three bases and drove in three as Wofford (13-6) evened its series at Elon (8-10) ... Wesley Alig hit a grand slam in the 10th as Kennesaw State (8-12) evened its series at The Citadel (11-9) ... James Murphy and Christian Smith homered and High Point (15-5, 3-0) broke a tie with four runs in the bottom of the eighth in Game 2 to complete a series sweep of Charleston Southern (12-6, 0-3).

 

* Conference Carolinas: Richie Jordan pitched a complete game and Noah Stout had three hits as Francis Marion (19-8, 9-6) clinched a series win over Belmont Abbey in Game 1 of a doubleheader, but the Crusaders (16-10, 9-6) scored two runs in the ninth to walk off Game 2 ... Barton (16-10, 10-5)  took an early five-run lead and claimed the deciding game of its series at North Greenville (21-6, 10-5) ... Southern Wesleyan (7-20, 6-9) scored 13 runs in the fourth inning to take the rubber game of the series with Erskine (14-13, 4-8).

* Peach Belt Conference: Lander (18-7, 7-1) scored eight runs in the second inning to take a 2-0 series lead over Columbus State (10-12, 2-6) ... North Georgia (18-8, 8-1) withstood USC Beaufort's four-run ninth to clinch a series win in the first game of a doubleheader sweep. The Sand Sharks (3-24, 1-11) have lost 14th straight ... Kimon Quarles had six hits for Claflin, but the Panthers (5-17-1, 0-9) were swept by Augusta (8-19, 5-7) ... Flagler (17-6, 6-3) took the lead late in both games to sweep USC Aiken (13-13, 5-4).

* South Atlantic Conference: Rocco Wojcik had three hits and drove in four runs in Game 1 and added two more hits in Game 2 as Coker (19-8, 8-4) got a series sweep of Wingate (12-13, 8-7) ... Carson Hayes had four singles and drove in five runs in the opener for Newberry (14-13, 5-10), but Mars Hill (8-19, 3-9) rallied to take Game 2 and the series ... Carson-Newman (19-6, 10-2) completed a series sweep of Limestone (12-15, 6-9) ... Anderson (16-10, 6-6) scored seven runs late to force extra innings, but Tusculum (8-17, 3-9) scored a run in the 11th to avoid being swept.

* Other four-year schools: Cody Kirkpatrick and Bryson French had three hits apiece in Game 2 as Bob Jones (6-15) split a doubleheader with Alice Lloyd (12-7) to get its first series win of the season, Kirkpatrick had five hits for the doubleheader with Mac Carroll adding four ... Bradley Garland's two-run homer in the eighth inning lifted Columbia International (14-13, 6-9) over Johnson (19-5, 9-3) in Game 1, but the Royals got the series win by taking the nightcap ... Benedict (8-7, 6-7) got a home run from Juan Guardado as it won the opener of an SIAC doubleheader at Savannah State (12-6, 11-3), snapping Savannah's six-game winning streak. The hosts won Game 2, Guardado had three hits in each game.

* NJCAA Region 10: Florence-Darlington Tech (23-7, 10-2) pushed its winning streak to nine with a pair of wins over USC Sumter (10-16, 3-9) ... Aiden Talarico homered and drove in four runs in Game 1 and Mason Elrod was 5-for-5 in Game 2 as USC Union (20-4, 8-4) got a series win over USC Lancaster (11-16, 6-6) ... Gaston College (21-7-1, 8-4) wrapped up a series sweep of USC Salkehatchie (1-25, 1-11).
