* NCAA Division I: Clemson (22-3, 3-2) wiped out most of a 10-run deficit before Wake Forest (19-5, 7-1) held on to even its ACC series with the Tigers ... Arkansas (22-2, 4-1) scored eight runs after two were out in the first inning - 10 straight runners reached base - and coasted to a series-clinching win over South Carolina (17-7, 1-4) in SEC play ... Troy (17-6, 3-2) answered Coastal Carolina's (17-6, 4-1) five-run eighth with four in the bottom of the inning to even the Sun Belt Conference series. hit batsman tied the score and a walk pushed across the Trojans' go-ahead run ... Johnny Sweeney singled, doubled and homered to drive in three runs as USC Upstate (11-11, 2-3) clinched a Big South series win at Charleston Southern (12-8, 0-5) ... Presbyterian (11-13, 3-2) withstood an 11-run eighth inning by Gardner-Webb (11-13, 1-4) to clinch a Big South series win ... George Derrick Floyd and Yates Bland teamed for a 10-hit shutout as The Citadel (13-11, 2-0) clinched a SoCon series win over Mercer (15-9, 0-2) ... Wofford (17-7) scored in innings 2 through 7 to clinch a series win over Villanova (11-10) ... Elon (9-13, 1-1) scored the game's first eight runs, but needed a ninth-inning run to even its CAA series with College of Charleston (13-8, 1-1) ... St. John's (9-12) scored five runs in the 10th to even its series at Winthrop (13-10).

* Conference Carolinas: Quin Allen had two hits in each game and homered and drove in three runs in Game 2 as the Erskine (15-15, 5-10) salvaged the final game of a series against Belmont Abbey (20-11, 11-7) ... An error to end Game 2 allowed Young Harris (21-9), 10-5) take a series win over North Greenville (24-8, 11-7) with a doubleheader split. Brett Blomquist had six hits for the Trailblazers ... Francis Marion (22-9, 12-6) used 10 hits and 13 walks to blitz Southern Wesleyan (7-24, 6-12) in Game 1 en route to a doubleheader and series sweep. The Patriots' Robbie Jordan allowed one earned run over seven innings in the second game. 

* Peach Belt Conference: Columbus State (12-14, 4-7) clinched a series win over USC Aiken (13-16, 5-6), which has lost seven straight ... North Georgia (20-8, 10-1) overcame an early two-run deficit to clinch a series win over Lander (20-9, 8-3) ... Georgia Southwestern (20-12, 8-4) swept Claflin (5-21-1, 0-12), sending the Panthers to their 13th straight loss.

* South Atlantic Conference: Limestone (14-17, 8-10) took the lead in Game 2 on the strength of a five-run fifth inning and held on for a doubleheader split and series win over Coker (20-10, 9-6)... Carson-Newman (23-6, 13-2) took control in the middle innings in both games of its doubleheader sweep at Anderson (17-13, 6-9) ... Catawba (23-7, 14-4) wrapped up a series sweep of Newberry (15-16, 5-13).

* Other four-year schools: Mac Carroll's grand slam capped a seven-run seventh inning and Bob Jones (8-17) walked off Toccoa Falls (12-15) in Game 2 to earn a doubleheader split and its second straight series win ... Isaiah Canty's grand slam in Game 1 gave Benedict (9-9, 7-9) a walk-off win over SIAC rival Albany State (15-13, 10-7). Canty homered again in Game 2, but the Golden Rams won, 24-6 ... Tre Williams doubled and homered to drive in six runs in Game 1 as Columbia International (17-13) clinched a series win over Carolina University (7-15) and the Rams completed the series sweep with a three-run seventh in the nightcap. Kai Smith's two-run single was the big hit ...Wiley (19-12, 11-4)  clinched an HBCUAC series win at Voorhees  (13-11, 10-8) in Game 1 before the Tigers took the nightcap on the strength of a six-run fifth inning ... Fort Lauderdale (25-9) won twice to wrap up a four-game sweep of Spartanburg Methodist (10-20).

* NJCAA Region 10: Florence-Darlington Tech's (25-9, 12-2) sweep of USC Union (20-8, 10-6) extended extended its winning streak to 11 and kept the Stingers two games up on Gaston College ... Kriss Sydlowski homered and drove in six runs and Aiden Bumgardner pitched a five-inning one-hitter in Game 1 of USC Sumter's (13-16, 5-9) sweep of USC Salkehatchie (1-29. 1-13), sending the Indians to their 18th straight loss. Nick Foster had an inside-the-park homer for the Fire Ants ... Gaston College (24-7-1, 10-4) took a pair from USC Lancaster (12-18, 6-8).
