Clemson (26-4, 6-3) scored two runs in the ninth inning to overtake Georgia Tech (22-6, 8-4) in Game 2 win the rubber game of the ACC series. Kyle Lodise hit two of Georgia Tech's six home runs as the Yellow Jackets run-ruled Clemson in the first game of a doubleheader.

In the nightcap, which was moved up from Sunday over weather concerns, Clemson's B.J. Bailey pitched a career-high 6 2/3 innings and leaving with a 2-1 lead. But Drew Burress gave Tech a 3-2 lead with a two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth.

Cam Cannarella reached on an error to lead off the Tigers' ninth. He went to third on Luke Gaffney's single. One out later, Jacob Jarrell drew a walk. Collin Priest was hit by a pitch to tie the score. With two out, Andrew Ciufo's grounder was slowed down by the pitcher's glove and no play could be made, driving in Gaffney on an infield single to give Clemson the lead.

Reed Garris allowed a one-out walk in the Tech ninth, but struck out the final two batters.

Clemson hitters struck out 18 times.

* Other NCAA Division I: No. 1 Tennessee (25-2, 7-1) hit two-run home runs in the eighth and ninth innings to clinch an SEC series win over South Carolina (17-11, 1-7), which has lost six straight. The start of Sunday's game has been moved from 5 p.m. to noon because of weather concerns ... College of Charleston (15-10, 3-2) scored three runs - two on a double by Dariyan Pendergrass - in the bottom of the eighth and evened its CAA series with Campbell (12-14, 3-2) ... Three Texas State (12-14, 4-4) pitchers shut out Coastal Carolina (19-8, 5-3) on three hits to even their Sun Belt Conference series ... Cullen Condon and Michael Sills combined on a six-hit shutout as Wofford (20-8, 2-0) clinched a SoCon series win at The Citadel (14-14, 2-3) ... Aidan McAskie homered twice and drove in four runs as Charleston Southern (14-10, 2-6) outslugged Winthrop (14-14, 2-3) to clinch a Big South Conference series win ... Trey Fenderson had six hits in the doubleheader, including five in Presbyterian's (14-15, 6-3) Game 2 win to take the Big South Conference series at UNC Asheville (10-18, 3-6) ... East Tennessee State (21-6) hit six home runs in Game 1 and Bucs pitchers fanned 11 USC Upstate (14-13) batters in the nightcap of a doubleheader sweep. Scott Newman had three homers and six RBI for Upstate.

* Conference Carolinas: Tristan Salinas homered in both games as North Greenville (29-8, 14-7) completed a series sweep of Erskine (16-18, 5-13) ... Rijnaldo Euson struck out nine as Francis Marion (26-9, 15-6) shut out Shorter (19-14, 8-10) in Game 1 en route to a doubleheader and series sweep. Austin Bunn homered in both games ... Southern Wesleyan (8-27, 7-14) evened its series with Barton in Game 1, but the Bulldogs (22-12, 14-7) took the rubber game in 11 innings.

* Peach Belt Conference: Lander (24-10, 12-3) wrapped up a series sweep of USC Aiken (15-19, 6-9) with a doubleheader sweep ... Warrick Wilmot led off the 10th inning with a home run as Columbus State (15-15, 6-8) beat USC Beaufort (4-26, 1-13) ... Georgia College (20-15, 13-2) swept Claflin (5-26-1, 0-15), which has lost 18 straight games. 

* South Atlantic Conference: Newberry (18-16, 8-13) scored six runs in the sixth to win Game 1 and rallied early in Game 2 to complete series sweep of Coker (20-14, 9-9) ... Jake Contino pitched a complete game in the nightcap as Limestone (17-18, 11-10) completed a sweep at Mars Hill (10-25, 4-14) ... Anderson (19-14, 8-10) escaped a bases-loaded jam in the ninth in Game 1, but Wingate (16-17, 11-10) came back to gain the split.

* Other four-year schools: Elijah Franz singled, doubled, walked, stole a base, scored two runs and drove in two in Game 1 and Blake Exizian pitched six solid innings in Game 2 as Spartanburg Methodist (15-21, 6-1) swept Carolina University (7-19, 1-5) in Continental Athletic Conference play ... Juan Guardado hit a two-run homer and drew three walks as Benedict (11-9, 9-9) topped Morehouse (13-13, 9-10) in the opener of a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference series ... Columbia International (18-15, 7-11) rallied from three runs down to beat St. Andrews (17-11, 9-8) in Game 1, but the Knights took the Appalachian Athletic Conference series with a walk-off in the 10th inning of Game ... Dillard (18-14, 12-6) completed a series sweep of Voorhees (13-15, 10-11) in an HBCUAC matchup.

* Region 10: Florence-Darlington Tech (29-8, 15-3) coach Preston McDonald got his 600th career victory in Game 1 of the doubleheader sweep of Gaston College (27-10-1, 11-7) as the Stingers built a four-game lead in the standings ... Quinn Gammage doubled in the go-ahead run in Game 1 and Cavan McMeans' three-run homer delivered a run-rule win in Game 2 as USC Sumter (19-16, 9-9) pushed its winning streak to nine with doubleheader sweep of USC Union (22-12, 8-10) ... Isaiah Lutz had five hits as USC Lancaster (17-18, 10-8) wrapped up a series sweep of USC Salkehatchie (1-33, 1-17).

* Beyond the border: Liberty had to forfeit Game 1 of its Saturday doubleheader with Jacksonville State because is starting pitcher was not on the 27-man roster.
