*NCAA Division I: Jacob Jarrell his 10th homer and Lucas Mahlstedt picked up his 14th save as No. 2 Clemson (35-6, 13-4) held off Louisville (27-11, 9-8) to clinch its sixth straight ACC series victory. Drew Titsworth pitched seven shutout innings in his first career start. Luke Gaffney singled, doubled and drove in a run for the Tigers. The win moved the Tigers back into first place in the ACC by percentage points over Miami ... South Carolina (23-17, 4-13) clinched its first SEC series win of the season as Jake McCoy allowed a run and struck out seven in 6 1/3 innings and Nathan Hall homered and drove in three runs against Ole Miss (27-12, 9-8) ... Cameron Flukey pitched a five-hit shutout as Coastal Carolina (29-10, 13-4) run-ruled Marshall (18-21, 6-11) in Sun Belt Conference play for the second straight day. Caden Bodine had three hits and three teammates drove in two runs apiece for the Chanticleers ... First-place Northeastern (28-9, 11-2) got to College of Charleston (22-14, 7-6) pitcher Jake Brink for two runs in the seventh and held on for the shutout win to open the Coastal Athletic Association series. It was the 10th shutout of the season by Huskies pitchers. The Cougars fell four games back in the standings ... Koby Kropf and Ethan Wilson hit grand slams as Winthrop (21-20, 7-7) clinched a Big South Conference series win over Gardner-Webb (16-24, 5-9). Owen Sarna struck out eight in seven shutout innings ... Kaiden Smith doubled, homered twice and drove in seven runs as Charleston Southern (21-14, 7-7) rallied from seven runs down to beat Longwood (10-29, 4-10) and clinch a Big South Conference series win ...Western Carolina (18-20, 3-8) scored four runs in the first and three in the fifth to even its SoCon series with Wofford (24-16, 3-8) ... Presbyterian (16-21, 8-6) rallied from an eight-run deficit to tie the game in the ninth, but Radford (19-19, 7-7) got a three-run homer from James Ward for a walk-off win ... UNC Greensboro (18-20) pitchers struck out 20 USC Upstate (20-19) batters in a 15-inning win to even the nonconference series.
* Conference Carolinas: Gideon Antle singled twice, homered and drove in four runs as North Greenville (39-8, 18-7) won its 15th straight game in a series opener at King (12-32, 7-18) ... Charlie Bussey III had three hits, scored two runs and drove in two and Francis Marion (34-11, 20-8) coasted past Chowan (6-27, 4-21) ... UNC Pembroke (24-19, 12-13) took the opener against Erskine (18-26, 7-18) in a series being played at the USA National Training Complex in Cary, N.C. ... Emmanuel (22-22, 11-14) won its series opener at Southern Wesleyan (9-36, 8-17).

First place North Georgia (32-12, 20-3) jumped on USC Aiken (18-26, 8-15) early to clinch a series win ... Eli Maddox hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth to give Flagler (28-15, 12-11) its second come-from-behind win over USC Beaufort (8-33, 4-19) in as many days.
* South Atlantic Conference: Kade Faircloth drove in three runs and stole two bases and Jonathan Velez doubled and tripled for Newberry (23-21, 12-16) in a win over Anderson (23-20, 11-14) ... Coker (26-18, 14-11) took the lead with three runs in the fifth and held on to beat Lincoln Memorial (22-20, 11-14) ... Wingate (22-21, 13-12) scored four runs in the bottom of the eighth inning to pass Limestone (21-22, 12-13).
* Other four-year schools: Jarian Pinckney was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to drive in the winning run for Spartanburg Methodist against Carolina University (8-30, l-7) in a Continental Athletic Conference game. Later in the day, the Pioneers (18-26, 7-2) were shut out by host Georgia Gwinnett (40-4, 5-0) in the CAC Showdown in Lawrenceville ... Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference leader Spring Hill (33-10, 26-2) continued its strong season with a sweep at Benedict (19-15, 15-13) ... Southeastern Baptist (15-13) rallied from five runs down in the seventh inning hand Bob Jones (9-24) its sixth straight loss. The Bruins stranded two runners on bases to end the game.
* NJCAA Region 10: Mike Joyce threw a seven-inning no-hitter and struck out nine as Florence-Darlington Tech (40-9, 22-4) took the first game of a doubleheader at USC Sumter (24-21, 12-14) to extend its winning streak to 13. The Fire Ants won Game 2 on Carew Bates' 10th-inning walk-off single. It was Bates' second hit of the game ... USC Lancaster (22-22, 14-12) evened its overall record with a sweep of USC Union (27-18, 11-15). Finn McLaughlin had three hits and drove in five runs in the nightcap ... Gaston College (35-12-1, 17-9) clinched the second seed for the region tournament with a sweep of USC Salkehatchie (2-42, 2-24). Zach Faulkner hit a grand slam for the Indians in Game 2.
