Briefly:  Juan Guardado hit three homers in Game 1 and Carson Fellows homered twice in each game as Benedict (19-11) swept Morris (1-33). Guardado drove in nine runs. Jose Gil homered twice and drove in four runs in the opener. For the day, the Tigers had 25 hits, drew 23 walks, were hit by 13 pitches and stole 10 bases. Counting five errors, 66 Benedict batters reached base. Jalen Scott, Julian Scott and Jonathan Warren homered for Morris ... Gaston College (33-12-1, 15-9) broke a tie game with as 12-run eighth to take the rubber game of a Region 10 series at USC Union (27-16, 11-13). Bantams pitchers issued 19 walks and three seven wild pitches ... A nine-run fifth inning lifted Bryan (22-18) to its second win over Spartanburg Methodist (17-24) this season ... King (12-29, 7-17) wiped out a one-run deficit with a nine-run fifth inning and took the rubber game of a Conference Carolinas home series with Southern Wesleyan (9-34, 8-16). Cam Mitchem hit his 34th career homer for the Warriors.
