* NCAA Division I: No. 2 Clemson (35-7, 13-5) responded to go-ahead runs by Louisville in the ninth and 10th innings to keep the game going, but couldn't match Tague Davis' two-run homer in the 12th, allowing the Cardinals (28-11, 10-8) to salvage the ACC series finale ... Colby Thorndyke homered, walked twice and drove in three runs and Coastal Carolina (30-10, 14-4) scored in double figures for the third straight day to complete a Sun Belt Conference sweep of Marshall (18-22, 6-12) ... Ole Miss (28-12, 10-8) scored six runs before an out was recorded en route to run-ruling South Carolina (23-18, 4-14) in the finale of an SEC series. Austin Fawley's first-inning grand slam was retrieved by his mother behind the Ole Miss bullpen ... Chazz Grossington was 3-for-3 and drove in two runs for Winthrop (22-20, 8-7) and the Eagles wrapped up a Big South Conference sweep of Gardner-Webb (16-25, 5-10) ... Kaiden Smith hit a grand slam - his second in as many days - in a 10-run third inning and Charleston Southern (22-14, 8-7) finished up a Big South Conference sweep of Longwood (10-30, 4-11) via the run rule ... USC Upstate (21-19) rallied from nine runs down after 2 1/2 innings and used an eight-run eighth to beat UNC Greensboro (18-21) and take the rubber game of the nonconference series. Max Kaplan shut out UNCG from the fourth through eighth innings to give Up a chance to rally ... Northeastern (29-9, 12-2) shut out College of Charleston (22-15, 7-7) for the second straight day to clinch a Coastal Athletic Association series win ... Radford (20-19, 8-7) scored three runs in the bottom of the eighth inning - with the go-ahead run unearned - to complete a Big South Conference sweep of Presbyterian (16-22, 8-7). Rhogue Wallace led off the game with a home run for the second straight day and added a single and a homer for the Blue Hose ... Western Carolina (19-20, 4-8) scored in six of eight inning to run-rule Wofford (24-17, 3-9) in the rubber game of their SoCon series.
* Conference Carolinas: Rijnaldo Euson struck out 12 in a seven-inning complete game in Game 1 and five pitcher combined to fan 14 in Game 2 as Francis Marion (36-11, 22-8) completed a sweep of Chowan (6-29, 4-23) ... North Greenville (40-9, 19-8) stretched its winning streak to 16 with a Game 1 win over King (13-32, 8-19), but the Tornados struck early in Game 2 and held on to win ... UNC Pembroke (26-19, 14-13) beat Erskine (18-28, 7-20) twice to complete a series sweep ... Emmanuel (24-22, 13-14) completed a sweep at Southern Wesleyan (9-38, 8-19)
* Peach Belt Conference: Zach Cowart's three-run double in the eighth inning of Game 2 broke a tie and lifted Lander (33-13, 20-4) to a sweep of Claflin (5-36-1, 0-24). Claflin's Elijah Bonner pitched a complete game and held the Bearcats to four hits in Game 2 ... Cooper McDaniel scored the game's only run on a fifth-inning passed ball and three pitchers combined for a shutout as USC Beaufort (9-33, 5-19) salvaged the last game of its series at Flagler (28-16, 12-12) ... North Georgia (33-12, 21-3) stayed atop the conference standings with an extra-inning win over USC Aiken (18-26, 8-16).
* South Atlantic Conference: Newberry (25-21, 14-16) scored the go-ahead run in Game 2 on an error and went on to a pair of one-run wins over Anderson (23-22, 11-16) to complete a series sweep ... Lincoln Memorial (23-21, 13-14) scored five runs in the final inning of Game 2 sweep a pair from Coker (26-20, 14-13) ... Davis Turner hit a two-run homer and a grand slam against Wingate (23-22, 14-13) in Game 2 to assure Limestone (22-23, 13-14) of at least one more win before the program is perhaps shut down over the school's financial crisis.
* Other four-year schools: Jarian Pinckney and Parker Winfield had two hits apiece as Spartanburg Methodist (19-27, 8-3) topped Carolina University for the second straight day, but host Georgia Gwinnett (42-4, 7-0) trimmed the Pioneers for a second straight day in the nightcap ... Conley Burk singled, homered, walked twice and scored two runs as Bob Jones (10-25) took Game 2 of a doubleheader at Southeastern Baptist (16-14) to avoid a series sweep and snap a seven-game losing streak ...Spring Hill (34-10, 27-2) jumped on Benedict (19-16, 15-14) early to finish up a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference sweep.
* Region 10: Patrick Evans singled twice, homered twice and drove in seven runs as Florence-Darlington Tech (41-9, 23-4) broke a 9-9 tie late and took the rubber game of its series at USC Sumter (24-21, 12-15) ... USC Union (28-18, 12-15) used a late offensive outburst to turn back USC Lancaster (22-23, 14-13) ... Gaston College (36-12-1, 18-9) completed a sweep of USC Salkehatchie (2-43, 2-25). Ryan Soto got the Indians' only two hits. It was the second-fewest runs Salkehatchie has allowed in a game this season. They allowed two in a 5-2 win over USC Lancaster Feb. 22.
