It was the Gamecocks' first nine-inning complete game since May 15, 2021 ... Jack Crighton's three-run homer in the seventh inning gave No. 2 Clemson (34-6, 12-4) the lead and the Tigers held on to beat Louisville (27-10, 9-7) in the opener of an ACC series. Lucas Mahlstedt got the final five outs for his 13th save ... Dom Tozzi homered twice and drove in four runs as Coastal Carolina (28-10, 12-4) run-ruled Marshall (18-20, 6-10)  to open a Sun Belt Conference series ... Charleston Southern (20-14, 6-7) did all its scoring in the first three innings and held on to take the opener of a Big South Conference series with Longwood (10-28, 4-9). Kaden Smith homered and drove in three runs for the Buccaneers ... Tyler Sparrer drove in all three Radford (18-19, 6-7) runs in a win over Presbyterian (16-20, 8-5) to open a Big South Conference series ... Six players drove in two runs apiece to spark Columbia International (28-17, 14-13) to a run-rule win over Appalachian Athletic Conference rival Kentucky Christian (14-27, 4-23) ... Eli Maddox's three-run double in a six-run seventh inning sparked Flagler (27-15, 11-11) past USC Beaufort (8-32, 4-18) in the opener of a Peach Belt Conference series ...
