Briefly: Dalton Mashore hit a grand slam and Ethan Petry hit his 53rd career homer as South Carolina (20-14) run-ruled USC Upstate (16-17). Cayden Gaskin's pinch-hit home run ended the game ... Dom Tozzi singled, doubled and drove in two runs as Coastal Carolina (24-9) got a road win over UNCW (16-17) ... Brent Gibbs' two-run double provided the margin of victory for College of Charleston (19-12) at Charleston Southern (17-13) ... Gideon Antle and Brett Blomquist drove in four runs apiece as No. 8 North Greenville (33-8) outslugged No. 15 North Georgia (27-11) in a meeting of ranked NCAA Division II teams ... Rayth Petersen had three hits and drove in two runs as Francis Marion (31-9) run-ruled USC Aiken (16-23) to stretch its winning streak to 12 games ... Hunter Poole drove in the winning run for the third time and four games as Coker (23-16) used a four-run eighth to overtake Barton (26-13) ... Kolby Branch homered twice and drove in seven runs and Georgia (30-5) scored in all six innings of a run-rule win over Presbyterian (16-18) ... Columbia International (22-16) scored all nine runs in the fifth inning and three pitchers combined for a four-hit shutout of Spartanburg Methodist (15-23) ... A five-run third inning turned the game in Mount Olive's (21-16) favor and the Trojans ended a seven-game losing streak by beating Newberry (20-19) ... Georgia College(25-15)  took the lead with two runs in the sixth and held on to hand Erskine (16-23) its eighth straight loss ... Mars Hill (11-28) scored four runs in the seventh inning and held on for a nonconference win over Southern Wesleyan (8-32) ... Middle Georgia (19-21) pulled away for a win over USC Beaufort (5-31).

Gamecocks lose LeCroy: After Tuesday's game, USC coach Paul Mainieri said catcher Talmadge LeCroy will miss the rest of the season as he deals with a hip issue that will require a medical procedure.

Beyond the border: Lehman snapped a 42-game losing streak with an eight-inning 7-6 win over Yeshiva in Game 1 of a doubleheader. Yeshiva won Game 2, 9-5, to snap a 100-game losing streak.
