Sand Sharks promote Lewis

USC Beaufort has promoted assistant coach Brian Lewis to be head coach of the program. He replaces Ted Falkner, who the school parted ways with April 30.

Lewis came to USCB prior to the 2024 season. He has two decades of coach experience, primarily in the Midwest. At Lewis & Clark Community College he served as an assistant under Randy Martz, a former University of South Carolina star and Major League pitcher.

Falkner was in Bluffton five seasons, compiling a 92-150 record.
