Aidan McAskie singled, doubled and homered twice to drive in four runs for CSU. Kaden Smith singled, homered and drove in five runs for the Buccaneers.
* Clemson 11, Pitt 2 - The Tigers (40-15, 17-12) jumped on the Panthers (27-25, 10-19) early to clinch an ACC series win. * Coastal Carolina 16, Old Dominion 7 - The Chanticleers (43-11, 25-4) clinched the top seed for the Sun Belt Conference Tournament and the regular season championship by scoring all their runs in the final four innings against the Monarchs (21-28, 15-14). Ty Barrango and Colby Thorndyke and three hits and four RBI apiece for Coastal. Jacob Morrison (10-0) allowed two runs and struck out seven in five innings. The Chants have won 17 straight conference games and 13 straight overall.
* College of Charleston 6, Hofstra 2 - Daniel Brooks allowed a run on four hits over six innings as the Cougars (34-19, 15-11) won their ninth straight game by beating CAA foe Hofstra (17-36, 7-19). Dylan Johnson and Landon Penfield had two doubles apiece.

* The Citadel 7, East Tennessee State 3 - The Bulldogs (30-23, 12-8) scored six runs in the sixth inning to clinch a SoCon series win over East Tennessee State (36-16, 13-7) and avoid a play-in game for the conference tournament. T.J. Anderson reached base five times and joined Anthony Hausner and Thomas Rollauer in getting two hits apiece. Andrew Stanley took a shutout into the seventh inning.
* USC Upstate 7, UNC Asheville 5 - The Spartans (32-23, 18-5) scored four runs in the ninth inning and moved into a first-place tie with High Point in the Big South Conference while eliminating the Bulldogs (13-34, 8-15) from conference tournament contention. A balk and RBI hits by Scott Newman, Preston Lucas and Gage Griggs produced the winning rally for Upstate. The Spartans can win the top seed for the conference tournament with a win on Saturday. The Upstate win assured Presbyterian will qualify for the next week's tournament.
* VMI 15, Wofford 6 - The Keydets (27-25, 6-15) collected 24 hits and took the SoCon series finale from the Terriers (31-25, 8-13) to close out the regular season. Both will be involved in play-in games to try to reach the six-team double-elimination portion of the bracket.
* Winthrop 15, High Point 12 - A nine-run fifth gave the Eagles (28-27, 12-11) a big lead, but the Panthers (38-16, 18-5) got the potential tying run on base in the ninth before Quinton Hall got the final two outs. Ethan Wilson was 2-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBI for Winthrop.
