* Salt Lake 17, Florence-Darlington Tech 16 - Averie Doezie's two-run homer in the eighth inning gave the Bruins (46-11) the lead, and they held on to eliminate the Stingers (52-12). FD Tech hit three home runs and scored 10 runs in the first inning, but Salt Lake kept chipping away. The Bruins tied the score at 15-15 in the sixth. Tristan Strickland's second homer of the day gave Tech its final lead in the seventh inning. Hudson Manwaring doubled and homered twice to drive in seven runs for Salt Lake.
