* Division I schools: Anthony Hausner pitched five innings and singled, walked and drove in a run as The Citadel (26-21) snapped Winthrop's (27-22) five-game winning streak ... Henry Zenor singled twice and doubled twice for USC Upstate (27-22) in a win at Georgia State ... Former USC Union standout Trent Turner doubled in the winning run in the ninth as Western Carolina (24-24) got a walk-off win over Presbyterian (17-29).

* NCCAA South Regional: Bob Jones (11-29) wiped to mm out most of an eight-run deficit, but fell short in losing to Southeastern Baptist in an elimination game. Down 11-3, the Bruins scored seven runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. Bob Jones got the potential tying run in scoring position in both the sixth and seventh innings, but could not get it in. Conley Burk had a pair of doubles, drove in two runs and allowed a run in three innings of relief.
