* Coastal Carolina 11, Louisville 3 - The Chanticleers (56-11) scored six runs in the first inning and advanced to the championship series with their 26th consecutive win.

Colby Thorndyke's three-run double highlighted the first-inning outburst. The lead reached 8-0 before Louisville scored. Thorndyke finished 3-for-4 with five RBI.

Coastal will play LSU in the best-of-three championship series beginning Saturday. Games are at 7 p.m. Saturday, 2:30 p.m. Sunday and - if necessary - 7:30 p.m. Monday.
