Lee on top coaches list
College of Charleston coach Monte Lee is No. 6 on Baseball America's list of top college baseball coaches under the age of 40. Also on the list are Samford's Casey Dunn (No. 2), former Maryland coach Eric Bakich (No. 3) -- now at Michigan -- and Duke coach Chris Pollard (No. 7). Another familiar name on the list is Nebraska's Darin Erstad, a former major-league player, at No. 9.

LeCroy a top assistant
Clemson assistant Bradley LeCroy is No. 9 on Baseball America's list of top assistant coaches in the country.   LeCroy is a Walhalla native and former Tigers player. Former Clemson pitcher Mike Hampton of  St. John's is No. 3. Ex-Coastal Carolina player and assistant Kevin Schnall of Central Florida is ranked No. 7. Also on the list are Virginia's Kevin McMullan (No. 1), Mississippi's Cliff Godwin (No. 2), North Carolina assistant Scott Forbes (No. 5) and Mississippi State's Butch Thompson (No. 10).

The Baseball America overview with the two lists also mentions USC head coach Chad Holbrook, Gamecocks assistant coach Jerry Meyers and former Clemson assistants Tim Corbin and Kevin O'Sullivan, now head coach at Vanderbilt and Florida, respectively.
