Erskine is expected to finish fourth in Conference Carolinas this season accoridng to a preseason poll of league coaches. Limestone is picked sixth and North Greenville seventh. Mount Olive is picked ti win the league.

USC Aiken is first and Lander second in the Peach Belt Conference's preseason poll of league head coaches. Francis Marion is picked seventh.

Five on preseason all-PBC team
Three players from USC Aiken and two from Lander are on the Peach Belt's preseason all-conference team. Pacers on the team are first baseman Ty Barkell, second baseman Ryan Metzler and relief pitcher Caleb Smith. Lander's representatives are outfielder Patrick Grady and starting pitcher Dylan Wolchik.
