Tigers picked third in ACC Atlantic
Clemson's baseball team is expected to finish third in the Atlantic Coast Conference's Atlantic Division according to a poll of league head coaches announced Friday. The Tigers (40-22 last season) are pegged to finish behind Florida State and N.C. State in the division. Virginia is the favorite to win the ACC Central Division and overall titles.

Five player from South Carolina colleges and a former Dorman High standout are among Baseball America's top 100 college prospects for the 2014 Baseball Draft. Tops among state players is USC catcher Grayson Greiner (Blythewood High) at No. 24. USC shortstop Joey Pankake (Easley) is 40th, Coastal Carolina pitcher Ben Smith is 48th, Clemson pitcher Daniel Gossett (Byrnes) is 77th and USC pitcher Evan Beal is 91st. Georgia outfielder Hunter Cole, from Dorman High, is No. 78.
