Palmetto State Baseball team of the week, April 1-7: Florence-Darlington Tech

Florence-Darlington Tech (went 6-0)
(beat Catawba Valley; beat Fayetteville Tech; went 4-0 vs. USC Lancaster)

Florence-Darlington Tech started the week off with a 16-4 win over nationally ranked NJCAA Division II program Catawba Valley.

Things just kept on getting better for coach Preston McDonald's Stingers from there. After a midweek win over Fayetteville Tech, FD Tech swept USC Lancaster in a four-game NJCAA Region 10 series to extend their winning streak to 10 games.

That moved the Stingers into first place in Region 10 with two weekends of league play remaining. After a midweek game with Brunswick, FD Tech has a four-game region series at Spartanburg Methodist, which is a game behind the Stingers in the standings.
