Brian Bromley pitched a three-hit shutout and struck out nine in seven innings as USC Beaufort won Game 2 of its opening Sun Conference series ...  Roury Glanton and Wade Betts homered for Lander in Game 1 against Claflin. Marshall Thompson struck out 13 in six innings for the Bearcats in Game 2 ... Livan Reinoso was 5-for-5 with a double and two home runs in Erskine's Game 1 loss. Chase Hadwin struck out seven in four innings as the Flying Fleet won Game 2.
