Briefly: Wes Clarke hit three of South Carolina's seven home runs and Gamecocks pitchers struck out 17 in their final tune-up for the Clemson series this weekend ... Three bases-loaded walks to Coastal Carolina batters in the12th and 17 strikeouts by Chanticleers pitchers added up to a road win at nationally-ranked Wake Forest. Coastal also loaded the bases in the 9th and 11th before breaking through. Demon Deacons pitchers struck out 20 Chants .... Rafi Gonzales had three hits and drove in three runs as Columbia International stretched its winning streak to three games in the opener and four hitters had two RBI apiece in Game 2 as the Rams spoiled Morris' opening day .... Francis Marion fell behind 4-0 and 9-4 before roaring back for its first win of the season ... A three-run third helped Newberry take control and even its record at 3-3 ... Leandy Castro had six hits and drove in five runs as USC Beaufort snapped a three-game losing streak with a road sweep.
