State schedule, March 19-21

A few highlights
* Clemson tries to snap a five-game ACC losing streak with a home series against Virginia Tech.

* A South Carolina team on a four-game losing streak and dealing with a scoring slump opens SEC play at No. 2 Vanderbilt.

* Southern Conference play begins, with The Citadel playing host to Wofford.

* USC Upstate, in a three-way tie for the Big South Conference lead, plays host to fourth-place High Point.

* After playing 14 of its first 15 games at home, Coastal Carolina visits West Virginia for a series, The Mountaineers are coached by former Clemson player Randy Mazey, although he has missed the last week to be with his son, a high school player who was injured in a collision with an outfield wall.

* Presbyterian plays its first weekend Big South series after having the first two weekends wiped out by COVID-19 issues.

* The top four teams in Conference Carolinas are paired on a weekend that could clear up the championship picture. First place North Greenville visits No. 3 Mount Olive and No. 2 Erskine is at home against Belmont Abbey.

* Lander travels to North Georgia, which has the most Peach Belt Conference wins.

* Columbia International has a Appalachian Athletic Conference series at Tennessee Wesleyan, the nation's No. 1 NAIA team.

* USC Salkehatchie, on top of NJCAA Region 10 after one week, faces streaking Florence-Darlington Tech. The Stingers, winners of 10 straight, had their region bye week in Week 1.
