doubleheader at Conestee Park.

Briefly: Jack Leiter pitched a no-hitter with 16 strikeouts as Vanderbilt clinched a series win and handed South Carolina its sixth straight loss. Braylen Wimmer, with a leadoff walk in the first, was the only Gamecock to reach base ... Riley Ramsey's bases-loaded double gave Bob Jones the lead and Ethan Rogers pitched 4 1/3 innings of shutout relief in Game 2 as coach Brent Casteel's Bruins got the first win in program history after 14 losses to open the season ... Columbia International scored four runs in the top of the seventh in Game 2 to a series win over NAIA No. 1 Tennessee Wesleyan ... Elliot Carney struck out eight in seven innings and Colin Davis homered twice as Wofford took the rubber game of the  SoCon series at The Citadel ... Virginia Tech scored seven runs over the final three innings to pull away from Clemson and even the ACC series ... D.J. Sullivan had six hits -- including five in Game 1 -- as Florence-Darlington Tech opened NJCAA Region 10 play with a sweep to push its winning streak to 12 games ... USC Upstate bounced back from an extra-inning loss on Friday to sweep High Point Saturday to win the Big South Conference series. Devin Buckner, Noah Rabon and Jeff Taylor had four hits apiece for the Spartans ... Coastal Carolina was held hitless over the final five innings and West Virginia rallied from four runs down to even the series ... R.J. Petit struck out and didn't allow an earned run in eight innings of three-hit pitching for Charleston Southern in Game 1... Joseph Szevtitz had a three-run double to give Winthrop a lead it never relinquished in Game 1 of a Big South Conference split ... Matt Hilderbrandt homered in both games of Limestone's sweep ... Voorhees and Edward Waters traded shutouts in a doubleheader split ... USC Lancaster was no-hit in Game 1 of its doubleheader loss ... Spencer Sarvis struck out six in a complete game as USC Sumter salvaged a nonconference doubleheader split ... Tanner Wakefield doubled three times and drove in two runs as Francis Marion won Game 2. Will Hardee had two hits and got the save ...  USC Aiken was outhit 19-11 on the day but split a pair of one-run games ... North Greenville and Erskine suffered doubleheader sweeps in matchups with the other two teams near the top of the Conference Carolinas standings ...
