State scoreboard, Monday, May 24

Briefly: Trent Polly pitched a complete-game shutout over Carolina University in the second semifinal and Columbia International advanced to Tuesday's championship game of the NCCAA World Series. The Rams (37-26), winners of eight straight, will play Southwestern Christian for the championship at 1 p.m  Tuesday at the J.B. "Red" Owens Complex in Easley. Both teams went 4-0 in pool play to reach the semifinals ... Earlier Monday, Shane Hammonds' seventh-inning single gave Columbia International a nice cushion and the Rams completed pool play by shutting out Kansas Christian.
