The Gamecocks will finish seventh overall in the SEC and play at approximately 2 p.m. Tuesday in the first round of the SEC Tournament ... Pinch-hitter Chase Cheek's first home run of the season - a two-run, two-out blast in the ninth inning - lifted Duke to a series sweep of Clemson.  The Blue Devils have won eight straight in the series ... Elon took an 8-0 lead after 2 1/2 innings, survived a seven-run third by College of Charleston and held on to beat the Cougars and earn second place in the CAA South Division ... Carter Willis' grand slam helped Columbia International clinch a spot in the semifinals of the National Christian College Athletic Association World Series. The Rams have one more game of pool play on Monday, then play the semifinal later in the day.
