Briefly: Brevon Harper's popup landed in the dirt behind a drawn-in infield in the 10th inning to send USC Beaufort into the championship round of the Sun Conference Tournament. The Sand Sharks scored three runs in the ninth to force extra innings. USCB will have two chances to win one game against top-seeded Southeastern on Sunday to earn a spot in the NAIA playoffs. The Sand Sharks beat Southeastern to open the tournament ... Justyn-Henry Malloy's two-out homer in the ninth gave Georgia Tech a  walk-off victory and clinched an ACC series win over Clemson ... Mississippi State took a 9-0 lead and survived three South Carolina home runs to clinch a series win ... Tyler Hall pitched a complete-game four-hitter and Furman transfer Eli Weisner had three hits and drove in three runs as Louisburg beat Spartanburg Methodist in the NJCAA Region 10 Tournament. The Hurricanes advanced to a 1 p.m. Sunday game with top-seeded Florence-Darlington Tech. SMC stayed alive with a victory over USC Union later Saturday ... USC Sumter scored a run in the eighth to eliminate USC Lancaster and beat USC Salkehatchie later Saturday to advance to a Sunday elimination game against SMC ... Harrison Hawkins and Landon Chaboy drove in four runs apiece in Game 1 and  Hawkins added a homer in Game 2 as College of Charleston got a Colonial Athletic Association series sweep ... Noah Rabon had a three-run double in Game 1 of  USC Upstate's sweep to set a program record for wins (33) as an NCAA Division I program ... Scout McFalls had a double and triple among his four hits, scored five runs and drove in four as Winthrop won Game 1. McFalls and Joey Tepper homered in the nightcap as the Eagles completed the series sweep ... Gardner-Webb rallied from a 5-0 deficit to take Game 1 and clinch a series win at Presbyterian. Zacchaeus Rasberry became PC's career stolen bases leader with No. 36. Sean Klein homered twice as the Blue Hose salvaged the series finale ... Troy built an 8-0 lead and held on to clinch a Sun Belt Conference series win over Coastal Carolina ...
