Daniel Brooks and William Privette combined for strike out 10 and allowed two hits and an unearned run as College of Charleston moved to 2-0 ...  Austin White was 3-for 5 with 2 runs, 2 RBIs and 2 stolen bases as Coastal Carolina remained unbeaten ... Nick Vella's bases-loaded singled capped a two-run seventh for Anderson in Game 1 and the Trojans pushed their season-opening winning streak to 11 games in the nightcap ... Tilo Skole had three hits and drove in a career-high four runs for The Citadel ... Evan Ames' three-run homer game Winthrop a lead it never relinquished ... Cole Caruso had three hits and drove in two runs as USC Upstate evened its series ... A three-run ninth inning was too little, too late for South Carolina, which had the bases loaded as the game ended ... Zeb Roos was 2-for-3 with a steal and 3 RBI as Wofford evened its records ... USC Sumter pitchers held CCBC-Dundalk to three total hits in a pair of run-rule shutout wins ... Kyle Marti had three hits and drove in two runs as Erskine won the opener, but North Greenville took the series win as Ethan Stringer singled, homered and drove in four runs ... Ben Freeman doubled, homered and drove in three runs as Newberry evened its series with Lander ... Notes: Before Saturday's game with UNC Greensboro, South Carolina honored the memory and family of former equipment manager Ryan Fischer, who died last year. Founders Park's equipment room will be named in Fischer's memory.  The school also honored the family of Richie Tallent, a longtime umpire and Midlands resident who died in January. Umpire Barry Chambers wore Tallent's gear to work behind home plate Saturday.
