Clemson completed a series sweep of South Carolina on Sunday, winning 5-2 in front of a Doug Kingsmore Stadium-record crowd of 6,636.

The victory extended the Tigers' season-opening winning streak to 11. South Carolina fell to 7-4.

Clemson scored three runs in the fourth, but the Gamecocks answered with single runs in the fifth and sixth innings. Cooper Ingle's first career home run highlighted a two-run eighth for the game's final runs.

USC got two runners on base in the ninth before Ryan Ammons got the final out for his fourth save of the season.

Dylan Brewer had two hits for the Tigers, who were outhit 10-6. Freshman Michael Braswell had four hits for Carolina and has hit safely in every game this season.

Clemson's Bryar Hawkins received the Bob Bradley Award USC's Will Sanders took the Tom Price Award. The honors go to the players selected as most valuable for their team in the series and are named for the longtime Sports Information Directors of the respective schools.

Briefly: Will Hardee had five hits and five RBI as Francis Marion split a doubleheader. Barton got a walk-off win in the nightcap ... Landon Mills struck out eight in six innings as Florence-Darlington Tech won the opener of a split doubleheader and a five-run first sent their to their sixth straight win in the nightcap ... North Carolina got its second walk-off win of the weekend to complete a sweep of Coastal Carolina ... Trey Yunger scored on an eighth-inning passed ball to give Wofford a win over Penn ... A six-run sixth inning put The Citadel on its way to a series-clinching win ... Nick Tripp had three hits and drove in two runs as USC Aiken got a Peach Belt Conference road series win ... Presbyterian pitchers struck out 10 and took a shutout into the ninth in completing a series sweep ... A bases-loaded hit-by-pitch gave High Point a walk-off win and series sweep over College of Charleston ...  Benedict got a road series win in SIAC play with its second double-digit output of the weekend. BRadon O'Connor doubled twice, homered and drove in eight runs for the Tigers ... Samford snapped Charleston Southern's eight-game winning streak ... No. 25 North Georgia  scored five runs in the ninth to take the rubber game of the Peach Belt Conference series at Lander ... Xavier was out-hit 10-3, but feasted on four USC Upstate errors, six walks, and a hit batsman ...  Winthrop took a 3-2 lead into the ninth, but East Tennessee State won the game and the series with a three-run homer ...
