FD Tech in Florida tournament

Brackets have been announced for the Panama Coty Beach (Fla.) Classic junior college event beginning Friday. Sixteen teams are involved. Florence-Darlington Tech, the No. 5 seed, meets Coastal Alabama South in a first-round game at 11 a.m. Friday.

With a win the Stingers will play at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. A loss means a game at 1 p.m. Saturday. All games will be played at Publix Sports Park. The event includes six teams ranked in the NJCAA preseason top 20 for Division I and two others who received votes.

Voorhees in five-team event beginning Feb. 9

Voorhees will play four games in three days Feb. 9-11 in metro Atlanta. Games will be played at the Peachtree City Athletic Complex and Gresham Park in Atlanta.
