CLEMSON - Georgia threw out Cam Cannarella at home to end the game and escaped Doug Kingsmore Stadium with a 5-4 win over Clemson.

Cannarella reached on a two-out single and tried to score on Cooper Ingle's second double of the game. But Bulldogs right fielder Josh Stinson threw the ball to second baseman Mason LaPlante, whose relay throw to catcher Fernando Gonzalez was well in time to get Cannarella.

Parks Harber's two-run homer in the first staked UGA to an early lead, but the Tigers rallied behind RBI doubles by Ingle and Billy Amick in the first and went up 4-2 on Will Taylor's two-run single in the second.

Georgia (20-17) tied the score in the fourth on a Charlie Condon homer and a sacrifice fly.

Stinson's fourth-inning double capped the scoring.

Amick joined Cannarella and Ingle in getting two hits for Clemson (22-16), which beat Georgia last week in Athens.

Ryan Ammons, the Tigers' Friday night starter to begin the season, made his first appearance since Feb. 24 after suffering an injury and retired all four batters he faced.
