Briefly: David Pereira's RBI single in the 10th inning gave USC Upstate a second straight come-from-behind win to pull even with Campbell atop the Big South standings, setting up a Saturday game to decide the top seed for the tournament ... Blake Wright's RBI single in the ninth gave Clemson its 11th straight win and clinched the third seed in the ACC Tournament ...  Derek Bender had four hits and Payton Eeles and Nick Lucky added three apiece as Coastal Carolina took sole possession of first place in the Sun Belt Conference lead entering the final day of the season ...  Andrew Lindsey pitched into the ninth inning and Tennessee took advantage of another listless performance by South Carolina to take the opener of their SEC series ... Reliever Lucas Mahlstedt pitched three shutout inning and Ryan Galanie hit a three-run homer in the eighth inning of Game 1 and Matthew Marchal struck out five and allowed one run in five innings in Game 2 as Wofford swept The Citadel in a SoCon road doubleheader ... Gardner-Webb jumped to a big early lead and withstood a late seven-run rally by Charleston Southern to clinch a spot in the Big South Tournament ... Winthrop suffered a walk-off loss at Longwood, but clinched a spot in the Big South Tournament when UNC Asheville topped High Point ... College of Charleston pitchers struck out 10, but the Cougars were held two three hits in losing to Northeastern for the second straight day ... Radford withstood a late comeback by Presbyterian to even their series ...

The Crusaders rallied from five runs down to take the lead, but Mount Olive had back-to-back four-run innings to take the advantage in the regional. North Greenville must beat the Trojans twice Saturday to continue its bid for a second consecutive national championship.
Newberry
* Belmont Abbey 11, Newberry 6 -  The Crusaders spotted Newberry an early four-run lead before pulling away and sending the Wolves into an elimination game Saturday against UNC Pembroke. There were 11 hit batsmen in the game.
