Briefly: David Pereira's RBI single in the 10th inning gave USC Upstate a second straight come-from-behind win to pull even with Campbell atop the Big South standings, setting up a Saturday game to decide the top seed for the tournament ... Blake Wright's RBI single in the ninth gave Clemson its 11th straight win and clinched the third seed in the ACC Tournament ...  Derek Bender had four hits and Payton Eeles and Nick Lucky added three apiece as Coastal Carolina took sole possession of first place in the Sun Belt Conference lead entering the final day of the season ...  Andrew Lindsey pitched into the ninth inning and Tennessee took advantage of another listless performance by South Carolina to take the opener of their SEC series ... * Mount Olive 13, North Greenville 7 - The Crusaders rallied from five runs down to take the lead, but Mount Olive had back-to-back four-run innings to take the advantage in the regional. North Greenville must beat the Trojans twice Saturday to continue its bid for a second consecutive national championship.
Newberry
* Belmont Abbey 11, Newberry 6 -  The Crusaders spotted Newberry an early four-run lead before pulling away and sending the Wolves into an elimination game Saturday against UNC Pembroke. There were 11 hit batsmen in the game.
