* Newberry 10, UNC Pembroke 9, 11 innings - Newberry survived UNC Pembroke rally from a 9-1 deficit to advance to a Saturday night game against Belmont Abbey. Donovan Ford's RBI single was the deciding run.

* North Greenville 11-9, Mount Olive 5-2 - The Crusaders kept their national title defense alive with a pair of wins against a Carolinas Conference rival. North Greenville will host a best-of-three super regional next weekend..
