Briefly: Ryan Cole struck  out nine in six innings as Erskine extended its winning streak to five by beating Toccoa Falls ... USC Lancaster clinched a series win at USC Union in Game 1 of a doubleheader, but the Bantams won via the run rule on Andrew Laperle's three-run homer in the nightcap to set a school record for wins (22) ... Luke Taylor's two-run single broke a 3-3 tie in the third inning and lifted USC Sumter past USC Salkehatchie in Game 1 of a doubleheader. The Indians gained the split by giving Tyler Levy an early lead in Game 2 and he got out of a bases-loaded situation in the bottom of the seventh ... Gaston College completed a game-ending double play by tagging out the potential tying run at home to take Game 1 and used back-to-back homers in a three-run fifth in Game 2 to sweep Florence-Darlington Tech.
