* Bru-insights: The two wins in the National Christian College Athletic Association South Regional last week gave the Bruins 13 wins, most in the four-year program's history.

Charleston Southern

* Buc blasts: The shutouts in the first and third games of the Radford series over the weekend were CSU's first two of the season ... The Buccaneers won Sunday's game while getting only two hits ... B.J. Banyon has hit safely in six of his last seven games.

Clemson

* Tiger Tales: Jacob Jarrell was 6-for-11 last week ... Jacob Hinderleider's hitting streak reached 14 games before he went hitless in the final two games at Wake Forest ... In Clemson's two three-game losing streaks, the Tigers were held to single figures in hits all three games.

Coastal Carolina

* Chanti-sphere:  The Chanticleers (9) and Georgia State (13) combined for 22 homers in their weekend series ... Zack Beach needs one run-batted-in to join Caden Bodine (59), Graham Brown (58), Blake Barthol (57) and Derek Bender (51) with 50 or more RBI ... Brown was 10-for-15 in four games last week.

College of Charleston

* Cougar curves: Kevin Madden extended his hitting streak to seven games with a grand slam on Sunday. He is 13-for-34 with 6 doubles, 3 homers and 14 RBI during the streak ... Cole Singsank had a single, two doubles and six homers in going 9-for-17 last week.

Columbia International

* Ram-egrams: Scott McDonough was 5-for-10 with 2 homers and 5 RBI the first three games of the NCCAA South Regional ... Deric Hanko pitched seven innings on Saturday for the third time in his career. All were complete-game victories.

Florence-Darlington Tech

* Stinger zingers: Ethan Plyler has a a seven-game hitting streak ... Stingers batters have more walks (325) than strikeouts (315).

Presbyterian

* Kilt kernels: Daniel Eagen has a school-record 103 strikeouts ... Joel Dragoo's 16 homers and 58 RBI are both school season records.

South Carolina

* Fowl fare: Austin Brinling, who spent much of the first two months of the season on the bench, was 10-for-18 last week ... Georgia's sweep was the first home SEC sweep suffered by  the Gamecocks since 2019 ... USC batters have struck out 517 times in 51 games, accounting for 40.5 percent of the outs recorded by opponents. The 2010 national championship team struck out 434  times in 70 games,  accounting for 23.7 percent of the outs. The 2011 national champs struck out 402 times in 69 games, 24 percent of the outs.

The Citadel

* Bulldog bulletins: Wells Sykes had a seven-game hitting streak snapped when he went 0-for-5 on Sunday ... Landon Slemp has made a start and a relief appearance over the last two weekends after being just a starter before that ... Aryan Patel has a seven-game hitting streak.

USC Sumter

* Ant hills: Monday's win over Gaston College in the Region 10 tournament was the 600th in program history ... Hayden Lake was a freshman catcher for USC Sumter this season. Fire Ants' coach Tim Medlin also coached Lake's dad, Stuart Lake, as a freshman catcher at Newberry College. The elder Lake went on to a coaching career and now works in the South Carolina athletic department.

USC Upstate

* Uppercuts: The Spartans have 99 homers, led by Koby Kropf's 20. Both are school single-season highs. Kropf has not gone more than two games without hitting a home run since April 2-7 ... Jace Rinehart was 9-for-18 last week ... Daniel Gernon was 8-for-12 in the Longwood series.

Voorhees

* Bengal bingles: Infielder Isaiah Palmer and relief pitcher Xander Casarez were named second-team all-Continental Athletic Conference.  Right fielder Raekwon Wedderburn was named to the CAC gold glove (defense) team.

Winthrop

 Eagle egg-stra: The Tuesday home game with South Carolina drew a school-record 2,004 fans to the Winthrop Ballpark ... The nine strikeouts by Riley Huge on Friday gave him 104 in 62 2/3 innings this season.

Wofford

* Terrier tappers: The last time a Wofford player had hit two home runs in an inning before Marshall Toole did it in the fourth inning on Sunday was in 2008 by Adam Kearney. It was the fourth time in school history ... Wofford rallied from a 10-0 deficit after 2 1/2 innings to win. It was the largest comeback in the school's NCAA Division I era (1996-present).
