USC's Casas has surgery

South Carolina infielder Gavin Casas has surgery on a broken hamate bone in his hand on Thursday and will miss the remainder of the regular season. Either Talmadge LeCroy or Tyler Causey is expected to replace Casas in the lineup on Friday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
