* Blinn 21, Florence-Darlington Tech 19 - Six ninth-inning walks contributed to a three-run rally as Blinn eliminated the Stingers in the longest nine-inning game in tournament history.

Tech had rallied with three runs in the eighth to take a 19-18 lead heading into the ninth inning before Blinn's rally.

The Stingers (54-12) got two runners on base in a bottom of the ninth and appeared to draw within a run on a collision on a play at first base. Video review led the interference being called, ending the game.

Blinn took a 5-0 lead after 1 1/2 innings, but the Stingers tied the score in the third.

A seven-run seventh closed an 18-9 deficit to 18-16, and Devin Mitchell's three-run homer - his second blast of the game - put FD Tech up 19-18 in the eighth.

Michael Gibson joined Mitchell in hitting two homers, while Zack Hunt, Rom Kellis and Ethan Plyler added one apiece.

The game lasted 4:14.
