Clemson Regional
* Clemson 4, High Point 3 -
Tristan Bissetta's one-out single to right field scored Blake Wright in the bottom of the ninth as the Tigers completed their 25th come-from-behind win of the season.

The Tigers (42-14) meet Coastal Carolina at 5 p.m. Saturday while High Point will face Vandetbilt ion an elimination game.

Wright doubled down the right-field line to open the ninth. Cam Cannarella was intentionally walked. After Jimmy Obertop struck out, Bissetta delivered the game-winner.

Cannarella's third-inning single gave the Tigers  1-0 lead, but the Panthers scored two in the fourth. Jared Purify's fourth-inning squeeze bunt scored Bissetta to tie the score at 2-2.

After High Point scored a runs in the sixth, Purify singled in Jack Crighton in the bottom of the inning to tie the score.

Bissetta, Crighton and Jacob Jarrell had two hits apiece for Clemson.

High Point starter Gus Hughes struck out seven in seven innings.

* Coastal Carolina 13, Vanderbilt 3 - The Chanticleers scored five runs in the second inning, three in the fourth and five in the seventh to drub the Commodores in the opening game of the regional at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

The Chanticleers (35-23) will play Clemson at 5 p.m. Saturday while Vanderbilt (38-22) meets High Point at noon in elimination game.

Sam Antonacci reached base four times, including on a home run, and scored three times. Caden Bodine had three hits and drove in two runs, Zack Beach had two hits and three RBI and Derek Bender drove in three runs.

Riley Eikoff pitched the first six innings for Coastal, allowing a run on four hits and three walks.

Raleigh Regional
* South Carolina 8, James Madison 7, 10 innings - 
Cole Messina's two-out home run in the ninth tied the score and Will Tippett's sacrifice fly in the 10th delivered the winner as the Gamecocks overcame more shaky defense to win a first-round game.

Carolina (37-23) plays No. 11 N.C. State Saturday at 6 p.m. The Wolfpack beat Bryant, 9-2. James Madison plays Bryant in an elimination game.

USC was called for four errors - another one or two could have been called - and made some little league-style mistakes against the Dukes as it never led until the end.

The Gamecocks twice fell behind by three runs. The first time, they tied the score in the fifth on a solo home by Tippett and a two-shot by Blake Jackson.

However, the Dukes scored three runs in the sixth to go up 7-4. Kennedy Jones homered to get USC within two runs, but still trailed entering the bottom of the ninth. Austin Brinling singled to lead off, but Petry grounded into a double play. Down 1-2 in the count, Jackson was hit by a pitch.

Messina had been walked three times - twice intentionally - earlier in the game, but JMU opted not to to do so again and bring the potential winning run to the play. Messina made the Dukes pay, cranking a first-pitch homer to  left to force extra innings.

After Chris Veach retired the Dukes in order in the top of the 10th, Jones drew a leadoff walk. With one out, Talmadge LeCroy bunted in front of the mound. The throw to first was wild, sending runners to second and third. Tippett followed with a flyout to center to score pinch-runner Dylan Brewer.

Chapel Hill Regional
* LSU 4, Wofford 3 - Steven Milam's second home run of the game gave the Tigers their only lead of the game and a walk-off win over the Terriers.

The Terriers (41-19) will play Long Island in an elimination game on Saturday. LSU (41-21) meets North Carolina, when scored six ruins in the ninth to top LIU, win, 11-8.

Wofford scored two runs in the second inning on a sacrifice fly by Tyler Hare and a single by Andrew Mannelly.

Terriers starter Branton Little pitched five shutout innings.

Milam got LSU on the board in the seventh with his first homer, but Jack Renwick restored the two-run Wofford margin with a homer in the eighth.

Jared Jones and Michael Braswell homered in the LSU eighth inning to tie the score.
