NCAA Clemson Regional
* Clemson 4, Coastal Carolina 3 - Cam Cannarella's sacrifice fly in the ninth inning gave the third-ranked Tigers the lead and Austin Gordon retired the Chanticleers in order in the bottom of the inning to send Clemson into the regional championship game.

The Tigers (43-14) advance to the regional championship game Sunday night against the winner of the High Point-Coastal Carolina game played earlier Sunday. If Clemson should lose Sunday, another game would be played Monday.

Alden Mathes was hit by a pitch to lead off the ninth. Jacob Hinderleider followed with a single - his fifth hit of the game - to send Mathes to third.  One out later, Cannarella's flyball to left scored Mathes.

Gordon struck out two of the three batters he faced in the ninth inning. 

Sam Antonacci and Zack Beach homered for the Chanticleers (35-24).

* High Point 10, Vanderbilt 9 - The Panthers scored nine straight runs to wipe out a five-run deficit, but needed a walk-off single in the ninth to stay alive and eliminate the Commodores..

On Sunday, High Point will play Coastal Carolina in an elimination game.

The Panthers scored five runs in the sixth and four in the seventh, but Vanderbilt tied the score with four runs in the eighth.

The deciding run was unearned because a Vanderbilt error allowed the batter to reach first base.

NCAA Raleigh Regional
* N.C. State 6, South Carolina - A bases-loaded walk and a throwing error on a potential pickoff provided the margin of victory for the 11th-ranked Wolfpack and sent the Gamecocks into the elimination bracket.

Carolina (37-24) plays James Madison at noon Sunday. The winner meets N.C. State later Sunday, needing two wins to win the regional.

Garrett Pennington gave the Wolfpack a 1-0 lead in the first inning, but Carolina's Will Tippett tied it with a homer in the third.

Pennington hit a two-run homer in the third. Ryan Brewer, starting the for the first in several weeks,. got one run back for the Gamecocks in the fifth, but Eli Serrano answered in the bottom of the inning to restore two-run margin.

Brewer tied the score with a two-run shot in the seventh.

A single and three walks in the seventh put the Wolfpack ahead.

In the eighth, the Wolfpack had runners on the corners with one out. When the runner broke for second, USC catcher Dalton Reeves faked a throw to second and saw the runner on third was far off the base. Reeves' throw hit the runner in the helmet and he scored when the ball rolled away.

USC's Ethan Petry did not play after suffering a hand injury in Friday's game.

* James Madison 8, Bryant 1 - The Dukes scored two runs in the first and never trailed as they survived an elimination game.

On Sunday, JMU will play South Carolina.

NCAA Chapel Hill Regional
* Wofford 5, Long Island 2 - Zac Cowan pitched six shutout innings as the Terriers survived an elimination game.

Wofford (42-19) will play LSU on Sunday in another elimination game. LSU lost to North Carolina, 6-2.

A three-run sixth inning gave the Terriers a four-run lead. Daniel Jackson, Andrew Mannelly, Brice Martinez and Jack Renwick drove in runs for Wofford.
 
The Sharks outhit Wofford, 11-5, but were held scoreless until the seventh inning.

* North Carolina 6, LSU 2 - Vance Honeycutt homered twice and drove in four runs a the No. 6 Tar Heels beats the No. 24 Tigers.
